Traces of vibration

This is close-up photo of relatively thin (.060&quot= 1.5mm) piece of stock on the bottom of part. When you are machining some component from the prime side, then flipping it upside down, you typically have some type of rectangular &quotflange&quot there. removal of this extra material employing big diameter facemill produces wide thin functions. These features can most likely start off vibrating, when they are thin and wide sufficient. Therefore, deflected piece of metal can get into the moving cutter and brake it. Aluminum does not appear to be tough enough to do that, but steel does for sure. Here you can see, what kind of toolmarks does the cutter make on the vibrating machined surface.
To stay away from this situation, it really is far better to run contour reduce around the element to remove these thin hanging attributes. One more way is to make an undercut around the bounding shape of component to be capable to break off that further material with pliers, for instance.

My new handmade micrometer rig for focus stacking. Primary components of it are Starret .5&quot head with .0001&quot resolution and Chuo-Seiki single axis translation stage. Platform and bracket are milled from a piece of aluminum and bolted together with stainless steel socket screws. Micrometer shaft has threaded finish, so I produced precisely ground plug with front surface perpendicular to its axis of rotation.
Now, I need to make numerous mounting holes in platform to be capable to connect it to table or clamps. Some clamping device for object holding ought to be added also.

I have a plan to play with it for some period, than – to make better a single, employing CNC machine, to be able to adapt the plan for various heads and stages.

The 1st Space Shuttle orbiter, &quotEnterprise,&quot is a full-scale test vehicle used for flights in the atmosphere and tests on the ground it is not equipped for spaceflight. Even though the airframe and flight handle elements are like those of the Shuttles flown in space, this automobile has no propulsion technique and only simulated thermal tiles due to the fact these attributes have been not needed for atmospheric and ground tests. &quotEnterprise&quot was rolled out at Rockwell International’s assembly facility in Palmdale, California, in 1976. In 1977, it entered service for a nine-month-lengthy approach-and-landing test flight program. Thereafter it was employed for vibration tests and match checks at NASA centers, and it also appeared in the 1983 Paris Air Show and the 1984 World’s Fair in New Orleans. In 1985, NASA transferred &quotEnterprise&quot to the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum.

Quoting from Wikipedia | Space Shuttle Enterprise:

The Space Shuttle Enterprise (NASA Orbiter Vehicle Designation: OV-101) was the first Space Shuttle orbiter. It was built for NASA as component of the Space Shuttle program to perform test flights in the atmosphere. It was constructed with no engines or a functional heat shield, and was therefore not capable of spaceflight.

Initially, Enterprise had been intended to be refitted for orbital flight, which would have made it the second space shuttle to fly soon after Columbia. Even so, in the course of the construction of Columbia, information of the final style changed, specifically with regard to the weight of the fuselage and wings. Refitting Enterprise for spaceflight would have involved dismantling the orbiter and returning the sections to subcontractors across the country. As this was an costly proposition, it was determined to be less pricey to construct Challenger about a body frame (STA-099) that had been created as a test post. Similarly, Enterprise was considered for refit to replace Challenger following the latter was destroyed, but Endeavour was built from structural spares alternatively.

Service

Building started on the first orbiter on June 4, 1974. Designated OV-101, it was initially planned to be named Constitution and unveiled on Constitution Day, September 17, 1976. A create-in campaign by Trekkies to President Gerald Ford asked that the orbiter be named following the Starship Enterprise, featured on the television show Star Trek. Even though Ford did not mention the campaign, the president—who in the course of Globe War II had served on the aircraft carrier USS&nbspMonterey&nbsp(CVL-26) that served with USS&nbspEnterprise&nbsp(CV-6)—said that he was &quotpartial to the name&quot and overrode NASA officials.

The design of OV-101 was not the identical as that planned for OV-102, the initial flight model the tail was constructed differently, and it did not have the interfaces to mount OMS pods. A huge number of subsystems—ranging from main engines to radar equipment—were not installed on this car, but the capacity to add them in the future was retained. Alternatively of a thermal protection method, its surface was mainly fiberglass.

In mid-1976, the orbiter was utilized for ground vibration tests, allowing engineers to compare data from an actual flight automobile with theoretical models.

On September 17, 1976, Enterprise was rolled out of Rockwell’s plant at Palmdale, California. In recognition of its fictional namesake, Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and most of the principal cast of the original series of Star Trek have been on hand at the dedication ceremony.

Approach and landing tests (ALT)

Major article: Strategy and Landing Tests

On January 31, 1977, it was taken by road to Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base, to start operational testing.

While at NASA Dryden, Enterprise was employed by NASA for a selection of ground and flight tests intended to validate aspects of the shuttle program. The initial nine-month testing period was referred to by the acronym ALT, for &quotApproach and Landing Test&quot. These tests integrated a maiden &quotflight&quot on February 18, 1977 atop a Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) to measure structural loads and ground handling and braking qualities of the mated method. Ground tests of all orbiter subsystems have been carried out to verify functionality prior to atmospheric flight.

The mated Enterprise/SCA combination was then subjected to five test flights with Enterprise unmanned and unactivated. The purpose of these test flights was to measure the flight qualities of the mated combination. These tests were followed with three test flights with Enterprise manned to test the shuttle flight handle systems.

Enterprise underwent five free of charge flights exactly where the craft separated from the SCA and was landed beneath astronaut control. These tests verified the flight qualities of the orbiter style and have been carried out beneath several aerodynamic and weight configurations. On the fifth and final glider flight, pilot-induced oscillation issues were revealed, which had to be addressed prior to the very first orbital launch occurred.

On August 12, 1977, the space shuttle Enterprise flew on its own for the initial time.

Preparation for STS-1

Following the ALT plan, Enterprise was ferried among several NASA facilities to configure the craft for vibration testing. In June 1979, it was mated with an external tank and strong rocket boosters (recognized as a boilerplate configuration) and tested in a launch configuration at Kennedy Space Center Launch Pad 39A.

Retirement

With the completion of critical testing, Enterprise was partially disassembled to enable particular components to be reused in other shuttles, then underwent an international tour visiting France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the U.S. states of California, Alabama, and Louisiana (during the 1984 Louisiana Globe Exposition). It was also used to fit-verify the by no means-employed shuttle launch pad at Vandenberg AFB, California. Lastly, on November 18, 1985, Enterprise was ferried to Washington, D.C., exactly where it became property of the Smithsonian Institution.

Post-Challenger

Following the Challenger disaster, NASA regarded using Enterprise as a replacement. Even so refitting the shuttle with all of the needed equipment necessary for it to be employed in space was deemed, but alternatively it was decided to use spares constructed at the same time as Discovery and Atlantis to construct Endeavour.

Post-Columbia

In 2003, after the breakup of Columbia in the course of re-entry, the Columbia Accident Investigation Board conducted tests at Southwest Investigation Institute, which utilised an air gun to shoot foam blocks of similar size, mass and speed to that which struck Columbia at a test structure which mechanically replicated the orbiter wing major edge. They removed a fiberglass panel from Enterprise’s wing to carry out analysis of the material and attached it to the test structure, then shot a foam block at it. While the panel was not broken as a outcome of the test, the effect was adequate to permanently deform a seal. As the reinforced carbon-carbon (RCC) panel on Columbia was 2.five instances weaker, this recommended that the RCC major edge would have been shattered. Extra tests on the fiberglass have been canceled in order not to danger damaging the test apparatus, and a panel from Discovery was tested to determine the effects of the foam on a similarly-aged RCC major edge. On July 7, 2003, a foam effect test produced a hole 41&nbspcm by 42.5&nbspcm (16.1&nbspinches by 16.7&nbspinches) in the protective RCC panel. The tests clearly demonstrated that a foam effect of the type Columbia sustained could seriously breach the protective RCC panels on the wing major edge.

The board determined that the probable cause of the accident was that the foam impact brought on a breach of a reinforced carbon-carbon panel along the major edge of Columbia’s left wing, enabling hot gases generated during re-entry to enter the wing and trigger structural collapse. This brought on Columbia to spin out of control, breaking up with the loss of the complete crew.

Museum exhibit

Enterprise was stored at the Smithsonian’s hangar at Washington Dulles International Airport just before it was restored and moved to the newly constructed Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum‘s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles International Airport, exactly where it has been the centerpiece of the space collection. On April 12, 2011, NASA announced that Space Shuttle Discovery, the most traveled orbiter in the fleet, will be added to the collection when the Shuttle fleet is retired. When that occurs, Enterprise will be moved to the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in New York City, to a newly constructed hangar adjacent to the museum. In preparation for the anticipated relocation, engineers evaluated the vehicle in early 2010 and determined that it was protected to fly on the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft after once again.

Wrote the Picayune: In October, 1803, it was nicely recognized throughout the country that Louisiana had been bought by the United States. Mr. Taylor was the only merchant who seemed to comprehend the profit from one consequence of the this fantastic political occasion.

So Shepherd and McDonough – when all the sugar created in the state was in between 2100-2200 hogsheads – cornered 1800 of those hogsheads, providing young RD “a handsome capital for a young man to start off in mercantile life.” He soon developed a new firm shared with Taylor, then in time by means of age and retirement became RD’s alone.

The New Orleans Delta states that R. D. 39_As the war progressed
As the war progressed, its maw of destruction came closer to Shepherdstown’s practically complete developing. 130,000 troops moved in the location in September, 1862 for the bloody Maryland Campaign, just across the Potomac river. Wounded from the nearby battles poured into Shepherdstown, placing the unfinished Town Hall into service as an outside hospital.

Wrote Mary Bedinger Mitchell:

40_The unfinished Town Hall had stood in naked ugliness
The unfinished Town Hall had stood in naked ugliness for a lot of a lengthy day. Somebody threw a couple of rough boards across the beams, placed piles of straw more than them, laid down single planks to stroll upon, and lo, it was a hospital at once.

There have been six churches and they had been all full, the barn-like spot identified as the Drill Area, all the private houses right after their capacity, the shops and empty buildings, the school-houses – every inch of space and yet the cry was for far more area.

We went about our operate with pale faces and trembling hands, however attempting to appear composed for the sake of our individuals, who had been much excited. We could hear the incessant explosions of artillery, the shrieking whistles of the shells, and the sharper, deadlier much more thrilling roll of musketry although every single now and then the echo of some charging cheer would come, borne by the wind, and as the human voice would pierce that demoniacal clangor we would catch out breath and listen, and attempt not to sob, and turn back to the forlorn hospitals, to the suffering at our feet and ahead of our eyes whilst imagination fainted at the thought of those other scenes hidden from us beyond the Potomac.

Had Federal Basic George McClellan crossed the Potomac and pursued Common Lee’s scattered and mauled army, as historians have much criticized him given that for not doing, Shepherdstown would have likely suffered higher damage, but, as it was, shells landed in the yards of the Lees and Morgans and one or two even hit Shepherd’s new Town Hall, but have been of little consequence.

A lot more invasive, improvised use was being produced of RD’s fine residence at 18 Bourbon Street in New Orleans, causing his nephew to formally appeal to the Federal powers-that-be in early 1864. He wrote:

Sir:
The undersigned acting as the duly authorized agent and lawyer in truth of Rezin Davis Shepherd, formerly the State of Virginia, but for far more than eight months previous residing with his daughter Mrs. Gorham Brooks in the city of Boston and State of Massachusetts, respectfully represents: That the stated Shepherd is a loyal citizen of the United States and the correct and lawful owner of the Brick Dwelling No. 18 Bourbon Street in between Canal and Custom Property Streets in the City of New Orleans and also of all the furniture and contents thereof: that in the month of June, 1862 Col. Edward Web page and Thomas Tileston, or other of them for investigation and that the aforesaid premises and contents be restored to the possession of the owner without having delay Henry Shepherd Jr.

Like The Town Hall, the large, magnificent Almshouse in New Orleans remained unfinished, to be hit by a worse fate. Shepherd was charged by Touro’s will to very first place ,00 toward its construction, then be ready to put much more money into its building- including even some of Shepherd’s own funds – as recipient of Touro’s residue.

A baking oven was in heavy use at 1 finish of the constructing so that heat would be carried by means of a fissure in a ventilation method close by. The fire started in the rafters above the third floor. It was night-time with a high wind and no flooring but laid for the third floor in that wing. Coals dripping from the fire then ignited tar on the lower walls. “Baked beans fired the building” mentioned one from the 2nd Maine Cavalry. The building was uninsured. Just a couple of months later R. D. Shepherd died of typhoid fever, November 10, 1865, no longer the executor of the estate, leaving no philanthropist to help make up the loss.

Wrote the editors of the Instances-Picayune in a lengthy obituary:
In his native village he erected a splendid building, made for a town hall, also a large academy, with stunning grounds and a stroll. He also deposited with the Mayor annually a big sum to purchase fuel and provisions for the poor. He also erected the largest and most expensive church in Jefferson County. A lot of other acts of public and private benevolence have been performed by him in his quiet, furtive manner.

With war ended and when he was still healthful, RD had urged that his Town Hall turn out to be the County Court because the Charlestown courthouse was a battle-scarred ruin, specifically from a shelling it took in the fall of 1863.

Two sons of James H. and his wife, Florence Hamtramck Shepherd were buried a couple of feet apart in the family members burial ground on Shepherdstown’s New Street adjacent to the Episcopal rectory. Robert F. Shepherd, who joined Co. H, 2nd Va. Infantry, died Could four, 1862 of pneumonia.

57_Rezin Davis Shepherd was buried there also
Rezin Davis Shepherd was buried there as well, in his personal time.

He left all his fortune to his daughter, who, since 1855, had been a widow.

Wrote the Shepherdstown Register: A Big Estate – the late Rezin D. Shepherd left an estate valued at about ,500,000 all of which goes to his daughter, Mrs. Brooks of Boston. He was born in 1784 (on the lot where the court home would be built). In 1809 he went to New Orleans and engaged in the commission organization till 1849 and was the executor of the estate of the late Judah Touro. Mr. Shepherd was formerly a merchant in this city, residing on Higher Street. He accumulated a really large home in New Orleans and was reputed to be a single of the wealthiest males of that city. Upon the breaking out of the rebellion, he returned to Boston and resided for a brief time with his daughter and sole heir, Mrs. Gorham Brooks, widow of a son of the late Peter C. Brooks. His estate on Higher Street was formerly, we think the property of Samuel Dexter.

The Massachusetts Historical Society nowadays displays a cannon donated by the household and acquired by RD – a smaller sized version of the a single that so severely wounded RD’s pal, Judah Touro.

The visiting journalist Trowbridge was verified wrong – the county seat DID go back to the Charlestown Courthouse. Wrote the editors of the Charlestown-primarily based newspaper, The Spirit of Jefferson, in 1894:

58_The Regular College constructing, formerly the town hall
The Standard College developing, formerly the town hall, on Principal Street, is a handsome structure, the gift of one of the Shepherd household, Rezin D. from which the town requires its name. You will keep in mind that it was utilized as a court home because the war and the courts of Jefferson county have been held there, 1 Judge Hall sitting on the bench. A political rape was perpetuated on Charlestown, the party in energy, fitly termed radicals, believed they had a sure point of it, constructed a jail and added a wing to either side of the town hall, but “the greatest laid schemes of mice and men gang af’t aglee.” The fellows that did all this mischief had been turned down by the folks and items took their standard shape and Charlestown was once again the county seat.

Shepherd University began when the county seat of Jefferson County, West Virginia, was moved from Shepherdstown to Charles Town in July 1871. On February 27, 1872, the Legislature of West Virginia passed the following act: “That a branch of the State Normal School be and the same is hereby established at the developing identified as Shepherd College, in Shepherdstown, in the county of Jefferson.”

59_RD’s descendant, Shepherd Brooks
RD’s descendant, Shepherd Brooks, created it final when he deeded the house and constructing more than to the School and a 3-person board of trustees to sustain it.

As they say, settings reverse, the tide of life had gone out – and – came back in again.

Stepper motor mount – Y-Axis

Employing long 3/16 inch bolts and a lot of nuts, I mounted the stepper motor to drive the threaded rod. The 2 wire ties around the hose are adequate friction at the moment. I might grind a ‘key’ into the stepper shaft to lessen slippage – but so far there has been none.

The GCode I was employing here was generated automatically by VCarve utilizing a drilling toolpath. I made it go slowly to fake a small longer dwell time.

No reconnaissance aircraft in history has operated globally in much more hostile airspace or with such total impunity than the SR-71, the world’s fastest jet-propelled aircraft. The Blackbird’s efficiency and operational achievements placed it at the pinnacle of aviation technologies developments for the duration of the Cold War.

This Blackbird accrued about 2,800 hours of flight time for the duration of 24 years of active service with the U.S. Air Force. On its last flight, March six, 1990, Lt. Col. Ed Yielding and Lt. Col. Joseph Vida set a speed record by flying from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., in 1 hour, four minutes, and 20 seconds, averaging 3,418 kilometers (2,124 miles) per hour. At the flight’s conclusion, they landed at Washington-Dulles International Airport and turned the airplane more than to the Smithsonian.

Amongst the most crucial industrial makers in Mexico is the automotive sector, whose standards of high quality are internationally recognized. The automobile sector in Mexico differs from that in other Latin American countries and developing nations in that it does not function as a mere assembly manufacturer. In 2007 one particular out every seven automobiles sold was produced in Mexico. The sector produces technologically complicated elements and engages in some research and development activities.

The &quotBig 3&quot (Basic Motors, Ford and Chrysler) have been operating in Mexico given that the 1930s, although Volkswagen and Nissan built their plants in the 1960s. Later, Toyota, Honda, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz established a presence. Given the high specifications of North American components in the business, numerous European and Asian parts suppliers have also moved to Mexico: in Puebla alone, 70 industrial portion-makers cluster around Volkswagen. The reasonably modest domestic car business is represented by DINA Camiones S.A. de C.V., which has built buses and trucks for virtually half a century, and the new Mastretta organization that builds the higher functionality Mastretta MXT sports auto.

The Ford Mustang Mach 1 was a functionality model of the Ford Mustang that Ford developed beginning in 1969. The name &quotmach 1&quot as used by Ford was initially introduced in 1959 on a idea &quotLevacar&quot originally shown in the Ford Rotunda. This idea &quotvehicle&quot utilized a cushion of air as propulsion on a circular dais.

The Original Black Widow restored by Richard Riddell
Built in 1952

“THE BLACK WIDOW” Builders: Wally Olson (1952), Bill Scott (1954) and Richard Riddell (2005) The garage discover of the century! How long have you been hot rodding cars–considering that the 1950’s? Numerous of us got started in the 50’s and 60’s. (For you true old birds out there that keep in mind hot rodding “T” roadsters with Roto-Faze ignitions, Ruxtell 2-speed rear axles, Riley 2-port heads and Laurel lowering kits, well what can we say you are a generation prior to us and we take our hats off to you ‘original’ hot rodders.) BUT for all of us “The Black Widow” is a significant piece of 1950’s hot rodding annals and a benchmark for the business! In an write-up in Hot Rod Deluxe, July 2008 entitled, “Tangled Web” the complete-story of Richard Riddell’s quest to restore the original Black Widow had its public debut. Hot Rod Deluxe reported the car’s winning the 2008 Grand National Roadster Show which was a dream come correct, taking “Best Early Altered T Roadster”. (See also Rod and Custom, June 2008.) It was also a contender for the Bruce Meyer award at the ‘Grand Nats.’ Why do guys like Richard Riddell (and the rest of us) spend years (3400 hours in Richard’s case) restoring a vehicle we discovered in a barn? Answer: ‘For the enjoy of the sport!’ All of us don’t forget some other cars with related names, for instance the ‘Black Widow’ Monogram model auto (“1/24 scale model/Ford ‘T’ Pickup Rod/removable top” by Mattel high quality hobby kits). Also, we don’t forget Common Motors/Chevrolet coming out in 1957 with their first racing version Chevy named “The Black Widow.” But predating each of these historic automobiles is the “The Black Widow” built by Wally Olson to aid maintain his children out of trouble in 1952 and initial débuted in Hot Rod magazine, September 1954 in an article entitled, “Lil’ Beau T”, which study, “Wally Olson, Fresno, California, automotive machinist, is the fortunate owner and builder. Duane Taylor was named in for the body operate.” It added as to why he constructed the car, “What with so considerably current upheaval in the teen-age ranks, Wally figured that a sure-fire way to get rid of these cost-free-time, nothing at all-to-do troubles would be to interest them (his 9 and 12 year old sons) in a rod. So far the concept has worked like a charm.” In time the family members moved on to other projects and Bill Scott bought the automobile and redid it with fenders, headlights and all the stuff to make it ‘street legal’—as we utilized to contact it! The initial documentation of the car becoming referred to as “Black Widow” is identified in the magazine Rodding and Re-styling, August 1957 problem. That article reported Bill Scott’s modifications to Wally Olson’s vehicle, “The front end was revised to incorporate a tubular axle and tube shocks. The new owners also equipped the auto with a new energy plant. The original mill is a ’41 Merc bored out .one hundred inch over stock, ported and relieved…includes 8.five-to-1 Offenhauser heads, a Weber full-race cam, and an Evans three-caberator manifold.” [Note: The numerous engines that had been housed in this auto later varied see final Merc build particulars beneath.] Do not you adore the sound of that “ported and relieved” and “full-race cam”—when’s the last time you employed these terms? By the time the 1959 Hot Rod Annual was published the automobile-title stuck for all time “The Black Widow.” Riddell’s two-Year Renovation! According to long time race automobile builder Richard Riddell’s log he states, “Sometime in 1955 Wally sold his roadster to Bill Scott. Bill once more referred to as on Duane Taylor to turn the vehicle into a bonified street rod. With the further of windshield, head lights, tail lings, and fenders it was lastly capable to jump into his small Hot Rod and go crusin’. The pin stripping was accomplished by none other than Dean Jefferies with the familiar cobweb and spider on the turtle deck.” He reports that the car’s 1st win was “…a five foot trophy at the Sacramento AutoRama in 1957 for ‘Best Roadster’. Yes, Bill’s vehicle was having the time of its life becoming one of the best seeking early California street roadsters of all time.” Richard states, “Bill Scott died about 1987…for several years the auto languished…getting worse and worse…as is so usually the case for old Hot Rods.” The garage find in 2005 notes, “At a glance the roadster didn’t look that bad.” But the Naugahyde and carpet were shot, fenders, original wheels and hub caps to name a handful of issues for the however to commence restoration. Riddell notes, “Under a somewhat decent body and paint job lurked a mess that went beyond your worst nightmare.” He adds, “I started wondering how I could salvage this little beauty in the rough. Not that many men and women have restored an old Hot Rod but, those who have know what I’m talking about. It’s significantly harder than creating a rod from scratch. But the roadster was begging to be restored and I’m glad that I was chosen to do it.”and#9472Richard died shortly following finishing the project but happily he was in a position to see “The Black Widow” win the ‘Grand Nats’ and have a feature center-spread report in Hot Rod Deluxe. Here are a few of the Riddell-engineered refinements to this original car. and#61692 Recessed pockets had to be built in the frame rails to accept the front motor mounts which double as water pumps. and#61692 New front radius rods were built out of heavy wall chrome-moly tubing. The original ones had been so poorly created that they were unsafe. and#61692 The right master cylinder banjo fitting was not accessible so, he fabricated a new one from scratch. and#61692 The tooling mandral had to be CNC machined to facilitate metal spinning new brass tail pipe end bells. Hey would you agree? Hot rodding is an art type and some Hot Rod Artists have mastered the craft and Richard Riddell is one particular of them!!! Reconstruction points of interest: and#61656 Original steel body and doors welded shut and#61656 ‘42 Merc 274 c.i flathead (current engine) and#61656 ’39 Lincoln-Zephyr tranny and#61656 ’34 Ford rear with Halibrand swift-alter center and enclosed drive shaft and#61656 ’39 Ford hydraulic brakes all about and wide “5” 16-iunch wheels and caps and#61656 ’37 Ford tube axle and#61656 Engine by RPM Machine and#61656 Chrome by Ace Plating and#61656 Frame completed by Capps Powder Coat and#61656 Body/paint by Showtime Customs and#61656 Upholstery by Brents Why is the auto getting sold? To quote his wife Pat, “Unfortunately, Richard passed away on March 18, 2008 and will not get to enjoy seeing the new owner drive away with a piece of automotive history.” Richard’s loyal wife Pat grew up about racing since she was 9 years old. Her maiden name was Rodriguez. If you grew up at Lion’s Dragstrip, as she did, you might remember her father’s rail? He and his brother ran an old prime alky rail below the name “Rodriguez Brothers”. Pat said, ‘As I was increasing up I often wondered how I would ever meet an individual to marry, considering that all that our family ever did was go to the drags. Then one day Richard came along and met me at the Winternationals.’ Properly the rest is history. For Pat following Richard’s death there are just too several memories attached to all the memorabilia, race cars and hot rods in their storage—she would like to sell “The Black Widow” to some deserving hot rodder. Terms of sale: five,000.00. Please contact Don Burdge at DreamRodLocator or call him at 619.804.8033. You ought to call me just before Leno does! We have hundreds of added photographs and numerous 50’s and current magazine articles obtainable to seriously interested purchasers.
